Iisjah O'Riley - OC-Pageant Round 2

Round two of

This rounds theme is inspirational trip!
The participants were tossed into a time machine and traveled in the past to get inspired by historical fashion

Seeing as his looks would fit nicely with British isles and his culture takes some inspiration from nations living on the isles it seemed only appropriate to send him back somewhere in that region.
So Iisjah decided to hop to 200 B.C. Ireland and visit Celts of the iron age.

Unfortunately there was a malfunction in the console controlling the place due to a bug stuck on one of the buttons.
So instead of landing in a happy, populated village Iisjah got stuck in the middle of some godforsaken forest right among a pissed off family of boars.

So up the trees he went!
Also seeing as all participants brought their pets along for the pageant he got jealous and this time he brought his pet rat Peanut


Ok now let's talk clothes! Seeing as this is a pageant xD

Iisjah wears a traditional tunic worn by both men and women (although women wore them longer) held by a belt.
He decided to adorn the belt with his families crest (the owl symbol).
Over that he put on a cloak made from three separate pieces - two woolly and a fluffy sheep skin.
He's also sporting some awesome leather shoes strapped with some leather strings.
Celtic clothes were quite colorful, died with berries and other plants with strong pigments. So Iisjah was happy he could go all bright blues, purples and yellows
Patterned fabrics were also used commonly - striped, tartan, plaid or checked.
He used some leather straps on his arms and calves to get the clothes some more interesting contrasts and details.

To top everything off Iisjah decided to add a floral flare to the attire.
He may not like nature but he sure likes poppies (sweet sweet relaxing poppies) so flowers and ribbons all around!
Not a thing Celts would do but he might get off as an eccentric bard 


Hopefully he won't fall of and ruin those nice clothes on boar tusks :v


As for coloring I kinda got stuck during it badly.
After hours of pushing and proding I decided that a simpler, more comic like style would wok best x3 Plus it reminds me of Asterix and Obelix so close enough
