INTRODUCTION

Hello! After some deliberation I've decided it is time to hold my first contest. It's going to be based on my story and original characters. The theme is spring. You are free to interpret this time in any way you choose.
My story is set in a contemporary Dublin, but in an alternative timeline where magic is possible. Visually, this means the world has been influenced by different historical periods as the supernatural world seems somewhat more archaic than its technological counterpart. You'll also see this in the character's wardrobes that fluctuate from very modern to Victorian-esque.

I'm hosting a re-design contest of my twin characters Sonia & Sammy, they really need a good revamp that means new hairstyle, new clothes & even new hair colour if you choose to change the colour of their hair or fur colour. The prizes are money or points depending which you prefer to have.~
~What To Do~
Really simple all you have to do is give both Sonia & Sammy a new design, meaning give them a new hairstyle & new clothes.
You can change the colour of their hair & even fur, but the eyes must remain green so be careful of what colours you use(avoid green yellow & orange if necessary).
If you choose to keep the hair colour the same but you want to add colours to it, that is fine but make sure the colours don't clash I prefer black if you choose to add colours, but you can chose other colours as it may change my mind.
Sammy's hair must be short, about shoulder length don't want it shorter than tha

Hello, one and all, to =baark's second art contest! I'll be doing things a bit differently this time around, since this is more or less a minor contest being held in comparision to the far larger one I'm hoping to hold later on in the year.

Like the last contest I held, prizes will be awarded on a tier-based system, though there are no actual 'placings'. Instead, a flat amount will be awarded to an entry as long as the requirements for that tier is reached.
I may or may not add additional, albeit smaller, offerings for other things depending on

10 Year Anniversary (+ CONTEST (2nd Extension)Update - 10th May: 2nd deadline extension - because of busy times ahead, it was more practical for myself to add just a little over a week onto the previously announced new deadline. So now, instead of the 22nd May finish, the new and final update of the deadline is 31st May 2013 - exactly 3 weeks time! No excuses for not being able to get it in on time with all these extensions

Anyone who has submitted a piece already, if you want to tweak your piece between now and the end date, you can do so and update straight to your original piece. Also, for anyone asking questions, please read the rules carefully as you might be able to answer your own question - but obviously if there is something you're not too sure about, comment here or send a note to make an inquiry. There was a question about collaboration pieces - I wouldn't recommend this due to complications with prize giving in that situation.

Iisjah is first and foremost a happy-go-lucky, opportunistic thief and vampire (although his powers make him almost human) bursting with energy, a good sense of humour and dripping with bad luck. He's immensely curious, which got him into a heap of trouble many times. He is also quite athletic - he prides himself in his acrobatic abilities. Under all that he tends to be a bit insecure, feeling that he doesn't deserve good things that are happening to him (but Blady is working on it)

A former actor and a hitman, Blady is easily recognised by his nonchalant attitude and ever present cigarette. Yet behind this confident front hides a nervous, self-conscious man with a fickle ego. However, once he becomes close to someone (which can be hard in his line of business) he becomes much more relaxed and fun-loving. As a partner, he fancies himself a charming romantic. Although he is trying his best at the current job, Blady's heart still lies with his past in the theatre, making him use every opportunity to show off his acting skills.

Iisjah and Blady started off as friends but overtime they grew to be a romantic couple, as dramatic as they are goofy. They love going on dates (be it romantic beach outing or assaulting the house of Bladys boss with rotten eggs), but they also go on adventures and work together doing not-exactly-legal jobs, watching each other's backs, literally or not. The two have proved to be quite therapeutic for each other, with Iisjah helping Blady worry less about what others think and enjoy life more, and Blady in return leading a battle against Iisjah's own insecurities and low self-esteem.
