Second entry to my Anthros around the world project

Remember some time ago I posted traditionally dressed anthro cheetah?

This is its continuation :3

This time we're in Thailand!

Meet sun bear Akkarat - he must have seen something quite funny there xD But he's a great sport and didn't burst out laughing fr the portrait :3

He's wearing a variation of a suea phraratchathan - a traditional Thai jacket and a hat (that may or may not be called gub tai as I actually didn't find the name of it

) I hope the clothes are at least a bit accurate but I'm sorry if they aren't - it's actually quite hard to find traditional Thai mens clothes xD
Behind him we can see a Thai longboat :3
The background is inspired by the landscapes (and seascapes x) )of the Phuket island.

This drawing is dedicated to *NuisanceBearEull as she gave me the idea to draw a sun bear

(Oh man they are such a cute loafs of skin!

)

This project is turning out to be quite a fun challenge x3
And as always I'm taking animal-country ideas

It's really fun to see some more unusual anthros - or, durr, I know that there's a lot of awesome anthros out there but it feels like it was some time since I saw some unique ones - maybe I should check out that anthros around the world project XD

I love all the details that you put on the coat. And how muted the colours get as he turns away from the light. He looks so tranquil and easy going! I think the pink looks a bit bright,but then it could just be the bright sun shining on the fabric!

Those clothes were quite tricky with the lack of actual photos of the jacket or the hat xD They should really update their culture info at wiki xD

I don't know why, the pink dressed bear looks like it doesn't fit into the background, like the colors ofthe background aren't gound on its clothes at all.
