Gaul Bard - Coloring Book

=spiritto posted a journal lately with some great colouring book pages and seeing the new craze on the web I decided to give it a try too

I didn't want to go with the standard Disney Princess theme so I got one of my favourite characters from comic books Cacofonix - the bard from Asterix comics

I tried (and failed xD ) imitating Bouguereau style of painting (precisely this one [link]) - but it was a good practise

I used this colouring page sans Idefix (he was slapped there for no apparent reason anyways ) [link]

This idea came from Ryan Wood . Many artists followed so it's starting to be a bandwagon of sorts (this time an artistic one too xD )

I should have painted it raining though - so let's just say he does not have his 'rain string' on his lute ;D
