=spiritto posted a journal lately with some great colouring book pages and seeing the new craze on the web I decided to give it a try too :la:

I didn't want to go with the standard Disney Princess theme so I got one of my favourite characters from comic books Cacofonix - the bard from Asterix comics :la:

I tried (and failed xD ) imitating Bouguereau style of painting (precisely this one [link]) - but it was a good practise :D

I used this colouring page sans Idefix (he was slapped there for no apparent reason anyways :B ) [link]

This idea came from Ryan Wood . Many artists followed so it's starting to be a bandwagon of sorts :D (this time an artistic one too xD )

I should have painted it raining though - so let's just say he does not have his 'rain string' on his lute ;D

Cacofonix (Assurancetourix) belongs to Albert Uderzo and Rene Goscinny

The funniest fact, in "Asterix the Gaul" (cartoon) he played national music and... everyone react normally or he played is? O.o

Zawsze lubiłam tego gościa. Mam taką teorię, od kiedy przeczytałam "Asteriksa i
Normanów", że Kakofoniks to satyra muzyków rockowych.

Anyway - naprawdę ładny fanart. Szczególnie fajnie wyszła ci ta zielona kolorystyka, szczególnie mech na pniu i trawa. Jak również sam Kakofoniks wygląda zarąbiście.
